This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes (“the City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for 2018-79-OP Implementation of a Document Imaging Program, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The City of Kawartha Lakes has recently implemented JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and would like to enhance and leverage the capabilities of the ERP system to scan, OCR, and automate the Invoice matching and approval process. The goals are to eliminate the need to keep paper based invoices (to be stored digitally), to improve the efficiency in how invoices are matched to purchase orders as well as the ability to use workflows to distribute invoices for approval and payment. The solution should support image scans from standard work center copiers (e.g. Canon multi-function devices).
