This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes (“the City”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the Supply and Delivery of Low Floor Conventional Transit Bus(es), as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The City’s Fleet Division is planning on purchasing five (5) low floor conventional transit buses over a period of five (5) years. The vehicle describe must be no longer than 27’ in length, gas-powered, low floor conventional transit bus. This specification is intended to cover the supply or one or more vehicles suitable for transporting, loading and unloading individuals, including persons using wheelchairs, in the Lindsay area. All vehicles must comply with the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS) requirements contained in Federal Regulation. |
