This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes (“the City”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for RFP 2025-085-CP Construction Manager for a New Paramedic Headquarters Building , for the provision of all design, services, as further described in Appendix C of the RFP Particulars. The City is requesting submissions from Proponents for the role of Construction Manager (CM) for pre-construction, construction and post construction services of the new Paramedic Services Headquarters under a CCDC 5B Construction Management Contract. The Project will consist of the new construction of an approximate 61,032 sf (gross area) facility on a green field site located at 230 Angeline Street South in Lindsay, Ontario. The new facility will include program space for the Paramedics Services, along with the Kawartha Lakes Police Services Backup 9-1-1 Call Centre, and the City of Kawartha Lakes Backup Information Technology (IT) Server Room. The facility will include a mechanical and electrical penthouse, a 39 vehicle parking garage and exterior amenities such as a vehicle parking lot, generator, landscaping, and electric vehicle charging stations. The second floor will be utilized for providing office and training space for the Paramedic Services department.
