The City of Kawartha Lakes’ Engineering Division is implementing an Engineering Consultant Roster system to prequalify engineering firms for future Request for Quotation or Request for Proposal processes for a number of capital works programs with approved budgets of less than $100,000.00 for road, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, watermain and bridge design. Benefits of the implementation of an Engineering Consultant Roster will consolidate the selection process, shorten project cycle rates, decrease project costs and provide best fit matching flexibility for engineering assignments. The City will evaluate the firms’ qualifications, project experience and other criteria detailed within and select those firms with the highest scores to be included on the roster. |
