- Term of Contract
The proposed start date of this Contract April 1, 2025.. Award and start date are conditional on all approvals being in place. Continuous operation shall be carried out until the Work is completed.
The anticipated completion date for all Work under this Contract, including all site restoration, clean up and the rectification of any and all deficiencies except invoicing shall be the Last Monday of the month of October for each year of the contract. Invoices shall be submitted monthly.
- Renewal Options
The City shall have the option to renew the Contract for four (4) additional one (1) year terms. (April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027; April 1, 2027 to March 31, 2028, April 1, 2028 to March 31, 2029 and April 1, 2029 to April 31, 2030. Renewals shall be based on satisfactory performance, annual City of Kawartha Lakes Council budget approvals, mutual agreement and the same terms and conditions of the original contract will apply except for the unit pricing. - Unit Pricing Provision
Each optional renewal will be based on satisfactory performance and mutual agreement. After the initial term, an annual increase will be applied to the unit pricing, 60 days prior to the contract term, and will be based on the posted annual percentage change of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) – All Items – Ontario to a maximum of 3%. Requests to use a different CPI date will not be considered.
