This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes (“the City”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for RFP 2022-03-OP, as further described in Appendix C of the RFP Particulars.

The City of Kawartha Lakes is seeking qualified proponents to submit a proposal to engage with the City in developing a network modernization strategy. The City wishes to consider technology, people and process changes to improve customer service and for the IT Division to better service a workforce that has evolved from on premises to a hybrid of on premise and work from anywhere. The successful proponent will recommend opportunities for innovation in IT services, communications, connectivity, security and data protection. The successful proponent will work collaboratively with staff to develop a business case for recommended changes, an RFP for recommended solutions, and reports required by the province in relation to their funding of this opportunity.
